Contractors West Inc. (CW), an Arizona company that specializes in highway electrical, fiber optics and signing construction, began operations in 1976 and has grown steadily along with metropolitan Phoenix. Our primary customers are municipalities and contractors that work in the heavy highway and roadway construction industries, among others.

Our business, which is organized as an S corporation in the State of Arizona, has extensive experience, and a strong track record, of countless successfully completed municipal traffic projects. CW, now 33-years-old, is highly skilled at effectively initiating and executing work in and around the streets and public right-of-ways in all of Arizona’s municipal, county and state jurisdictions. Our company has formed strong, trustworthy work relationships with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), the City of Phoenix, the City of Tucson and other towns and municipalities.

Our team of professionals has successfully completed hundreds of projects throughout Arizona. CW’s annual sales range from $15,000,000 to $30,000,000. Just as significant, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has preapproved our business for a bonding capacity of $102 million and we have a corporate bonding capacity of $100,000,000 aggregate. Our more than 70 union employees are thoroughly trained in International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Level II and Level I traffic signals, IMSA work zone safety and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and safety training.
